Global Poverty Prayer Week: Get active on climate change

This December the UN summit on climate change will meet and once again make recommendations to world leaders. Join others and spend today praying and taking action to ask for a tough new international agreement to keep the global temperature rise below 2ºC centigrade (pre-industrial levels).
Creative ideas: consider watching the film An Inconvenient Truth with friends to help inform people about the dangers of global warming. When you see trees or grass today, pray that the summit in December would make binding agreements that lead to decisive action.
