Father, your love is constant and eternal, while our time on earth is fleeting. Help us not to get too attached to the things of this earth, but to instead draw our joy and identity from you.
Amen
Father, thank you for being a God who searches out the poor and vulnerable. Help me to put a face to climate change, so that it is not just an issue, but it’s about a person who You created. Remind me of these people impacted by climate change whenever I feel unmotivated to make changes in my life.
Amen
Lord we pray for healing;
that the sick will be well,
the blind see,
and the lame walk.
But it is not enough.
For you offer not just healing
but life in all its fullness.
Lord we pray for healing,
yet you wish to make us whole.
Amen

God, help us to not be overwhelmed by climate change, but to be filled with your hope for your planet. Help us to start where we can, in our homes, and remember that we are part of a global movement of Christians changing our lifestyles and turning the tide.
Amen
Remember us.
When all the world forgets the church
that still lives where it was born.
Remember us and pray for our future.Remember us.
When all the world
focuses upon Jew and Muslim in the holy land.
Remember us and pray for our mission.Remember us.
When all the world sees only ancient buildings
and not the faithful few who inhabit them.
Remember us and pray for our people.Remember us.
Small, forgotten, fragile;
Faithful, steadfast and courageous.
Remember us and pray for us.Amen

Lord, give me a heart for your people already affected by climate change around the world. Help me to understand their needs and do my part to reduce their suffering, through lifestyle choices and political action
Amen
Father, help me to prioritise how I use my time, so that in my busyness I do not become wasteful. Cause me to view resources differently, and remember that when I throw something away it doesn’t disappear.
Amen
O Lord
We dash past souvenir shops
and idle tradesmen,
push through crowds of people,
and rush ahead of local Christians,
to see where you were born.
But you are not there.
For you are in the souvenir shops,
with the tradesmen,
among the crowds,
alongside the citizens,
who we, in our eagerness
to meet you
rushed past,
without noticing.

Father, thank you for providing us with plentiful water to drink and meeting all our basic needs. Help us not to take any blessing for granted, but instead be faithful stewards of your earth’s resources. As we make changes that may be inconvenient, we draw from your well of living water that never runs dry, and remember that everything we have comes from you.
Amen
God, in this world that moves at such a quick pace, help me to slow down. Let me savour the food and community you’ve blessed me with and spend time with you and not fall prey to the busyness our culture aspires us to.
